Swedish politician who is known for his work as a member of the Moderate Party. He served as a member of the Swedish Riksdag for Stockholm County. Having served as the Swedish Riksdag, he is also known for being a member of the Labour Markey Committee and deputy for the Education Committee.
He studied at Uppsala University where he studied political science. He started his career working as a programmer and web developer before launching into politics in 2006 when he started working as the webmaster for the Moderate Party.
He is also known for his Twitter presence and shares news updates as well as controversial posts through his account where he has over 140,000 followers.
While he was born in Iran, he came to Sweden at the age of three and spent his youth growing up around different foster families.

Hanif Bali (Swedish: [ˈhǎnːɪf ˈbǎːlɪ] ; Persian: حنیف بالی [hæˈniːf ˈbæliː] ; born 10 April 1987) is a Swedish politician of the Moderate Party and a former board member of the Moderate Party. He has been member of the Swedish Riksdag for Stockholm County since 2010. He lives in Solna, Sweden and has municipal positions in Solna Municipality.
Bali arrived in Sweden unaccompanied from Iran at the age of 3, and lived most of his childhood in different foster families. He is of Kurdish descent. He studied at Uppsala University after finishing gymnasium. Prior to becoming a full-time politician, Bali worked as a programmer and web developer. He worked for the Moderate Party as a webmaster from 2006 to 2007.
Prior to the 2010 general election he stood as number 9 on the ticket for the Swedish Riksdag in Stockholm County and was thus the youngest and highest placed newcomer in the Moderate Party in the region. In the Swedish Riksdag, Bali is a permanent member of the Labour Market Committee and a deputy in the Education Committee. He is responsible for integration issues in the Labour Market Committee of the Moderate Party. He also runs a business as an IT consultant.
In January 2018, Bali was interviewed by Tucker Carlson on Fox News about immigration to Sweden.
